Happy Sunday

Oh what a luckily woman am I. Not only am I on a fab holiday in the Peak District I also got to meet someone who is a kindred spirit known on twitter as Massofhair.  We got to meet up for lunch on Sunday.

I met her and her OH at a very nice pub called the BeeHive you can access the pub website here I thoroughly recommended it if you’re near here. Really great food and very friendly.
We met at 12pm and she came baring gifts. I was thrilled with what she had made me and felt really honoured. Here are few piccys. You can see how they were made on Massofhairs blog here.
The light doesn’t do it justice but here is a close up

There are so many layers and with such lush colours and texture you can see why I was so pleased. But I also got this.

Isn’t gorgeous – and once the pages are full I can remove them and add some fresh ones – what a clever girl!

And I also got this – there are a few photos as I wanted to show all sides. When I saw these on M’s blog I thought it was really brilliant as such a fab idea.
Side 1

Look at all that yummy texture it really is scrummy.

And last but not least

I got two blanks to play with for when I get home.
We had a really good time and if I hadn’t needed to pick my OH up from his long walk we would have still been there at bed time Lol. Thank you so much for a wonderful afternoon Massofhair and OH I really enjoyed your company and cannot wait until will we can do it again. Much love xxxxx
