Ooh I'm so late

Hello everyone, thanks for stopping by. I’m finally sharing a face, well two actually that I created to link to the lovely Kim Dellow’s show your face on Art it Friday. If you don’t know what I’m talking about then please take a look here. I must say that every week some amazing Artists share their faces with Kim’s site, and they are so talented and inspirational.

I’m late posting as I have had a cold which has really brought me down. I won’t bore you with the details but suffice to say I’ve not been able to create so what I’m sharing is a digital piece and a face I made a few weeks ago.

Here’s the digital face.

I was playing with some Fresco Acrylic Paint from Paper Artsy and a brayer. I then stamped this corner flourish from Elizabeth Borer for Paper Artsy. I took a photo of the corner. I then took the background into Procreate and coloured the stamp in. I loved the effect so thought it would make a great background for my face. video below.

Next is a face I made on an old background, which is quite tatty. But as those who know me know, I don’t mind a bit of tat.

So there you go, if you haven’t had a go then I would highly recommend it, but be careful it’s addictive.
