Hello everyone, I hope you are all well, and enjoying your Sunday. Today starts the new challenge at MMW and the theme is anything goes. My altered box came about from a request at work as to whether I could do some thing with it. It is a chocolate box and had various markings on it. I’m sorry there is no before picture I got carried away.
Here is the completed box.
Using Fresco Acrylic in Vintage Lace, from Paper Artsy I painted the whole box inside and out. I gave it all another coat. For the top I took a tissue and with Modge Podge stuck it to the lid. One it was completely dry, using a sanding block I sanded the tissue away from the edge leaving a nice edge. I then edge the box in Pewter Treasure Gold.
The flower is a tattered Floral die cut from Tim Holtz. Again painted in vintage lace and edged with the Treasure gold.
