hi everyone here I am with first of my two Christmas themed posts for Countryview crafty as this month was my choice what else could we have in December! There are some fabulous creations over on the blog to tempt you away from all those cards and pressies you are making to play along and have some you time! And don’t forget if you are chosen you win £20 to spend in the shop! I do hope your preparations are ticking along nicely, try not to get stressed, remember this is a celebration and as such enjoy it, whatever you celebrate.
Well I certainly enjoyed creating this vintage Snow Globe, full of snow and ice!
The paints and crackle I used are from Paper Artsy and the snow is chunky white embossing powder. TIP! flick water where you want the texture and then sprinkle the powder. The heatgun doesn’t blow it away! A great tip from the ladies at Birds in the Barn in Marks Tey in Essex, thank you ladies! Here are some photos of how I created it!
