Here we are again and who would believe its June already. I have a special post for you today as it is 100 posts for the County View Challenge blog and we have a wonderful surprise for you as we are giving TWO lucky winners a prize to celebrate. However, there are some special requirements you need to do to ensure you are entered for both prizes.
First, you must include 100 somewhere on your make. It can be the numbers or written
on the background, or the focal point but it must be prominent.
The second thing is you must visit each of the teams the blogs and leave a comment. So very good luck, and now here’s my first inspiration piece.
So I started by die cutting the panel which is from Spellbinders. I coloured the flowers using two new colours from Ranger in their distress ink range.
Once the ink was dry, I used the same colour embossing powder. The colours I used is Salvaged Patina, and Crackling Campfire. this colour combo was inspired by an image created by my team mate Jane which you can see here and I loved.
Next using my hot glimmer system I added more flowers and a sentiment. again I coloured the flowers with the same inks. I added some green from Rustic Wilderness.
I cut two sets of 100s from a die from Spellbinders and one in the same gold as I was going to use at the bottom of the card and one in watercolour paper and painted it with the same blue.
Iwent with the blue as I think it tied the card together better than the gold. Once it was all stack to the card and dry I decorated it with some stick on beads. lets take another look.
Thank you so much for stopping by, and hope to see you again soon.
Hugs
