Hearts and Flowers

Hi everyone I have a very quick post today showing my last post for February for the challenge over at Country View Challenges . It’s a watercolour card I created for Valentines but could easily be adapted for any occasions.

So to start I roughly pained the grid using a watercolour brush pen from Tombow and ruler once i completled a few I activated with a clear brush pen and then continued. Once it wascompletely dry drew a heart on textured watercolour paper and painted it with my Senellier watercolour starting with Madder Rose. I dropped in some magenta and a little cadmium red.

Next I used my hot foil system from Spellbinders and making sure to mask part of the heart I added my diamonds. A couple of weeks ago i painted this little flourish as part of my warm up practice and so fussy cut it out and stuck it on my heart with glossy accents glue. I mounted the whole thing onto an A5 card and added a sentiment.

Well thats me for this month and I’m taking a break from the challenge blog next month, but you can catch my makes on the shop site instead. Ill be back in April though so be sure to check me out.

Take care

hugs
