Morning every one and happy Easter. Today I have my second post for Country View Crafts April Challenge, which is a card.

Earlier in the week I had received some new glittery paints and was eager to try them out. I used watercolour paints but you could easily use any of your water based painters in the same way. For example, all the Distress Inks and sprays can be used but I would water them down as they are very pigmented. You can still get them to make translucent layers which look really effective.
So I started with some very lose florals

I love how glittery these are and they granulate so beautifull. Next I dried them with my heat gun and to add some more interest I used a gelly roll pen and added some lined detail.

Please forgive the poor photography, it was a very dull day and one of my lights failed which Created a lot of shadow.
Once the pen was dry I cut The paper to the size of my card and and mounted it onto some glitter card And then onto my 5×7 card
Next I created a sentiment on Design Space and added an offset. I cut the offset in white card and the sentiment from glitter vinyl. I matched Them up and adhered to my card.
Let’s take another look.

There’s still loads of time to enter the challenge and I hope Ive inspired you to have a go Hugs Debs xx
