Sam one of the PATwits was guess designer this week with this great tag. So I thought I’d have a go following Sam’s style. I used different colours and stamps but followed her background technique.
I chose my colours
And brayered them onto the tag
Sam used one of Ellen Vargo’s stamps from Paper Artsy but I don’t have that one and so used this stamp I picked up somewhere (cannot remember where- sorry). I used archival ink in watering can and then dried the tag, I used the same same stamp but this time black. With a white paint pen I drew some highlights. I used distress ink round the edge in seedless preserves.
I moved on to the corrugated card which I painted in black Gesso. I stamped the face from the
Lynne Perrella Collection 028 but altered the sides to fit my card.
I added a few bits and bobs as you can see and the result was this finished tag.
