Fragile Papers

Hello everyone, I hope you all are well and have had time to relax and enjoy yourselves.

I’ve been very busy catching up on outstanding tasks from work and not had anytime to myself. I think it will be like that for a while but hopefully I’ll get back into routine of doing a little in the evenings as well as weekends. Although I’ve started swimming and going to the gym and of course that also takes time.
Today I’m bringing you a journal page inspired by the theme over on the Paper Artsy blog. There are lots of great inspiration and sneak peeks of new stamps. Very exciting times!
There is a video of how I created the journal page and pictures beneath of the finished page. I used Paper Artsy Fresco finish acrylics, a text stamp and flowers from Darcy Uk 09  and a sentiment from hot picks 1008 To complete the page I used Fancolour pens and Portfolio crayons  to added some shading to the circles.

You can see in the video that I got very messy and there is a very quick peek at another page which I didn’t edit out! I hope you like the video, it’s still not as good as I want but practice makes perfect.
Take care and I will see you soon

  1. Debs,Watched your video amazing and loved the music. Your page is beautiful. I really thought your cap marks were 3-D love the way you finished them off with the dark blue and black.

  2. Nice work Debs, frustratingly I am on a really old laptop, and the adobe flash player keeps crashing, so I couldn't watch the video, but well done you for doing it! I shall have to get one of my resident geeks to sort it out for me! But, as always, the pictures of what you have been up to look fab!

  3. I love your journals, Debs. With a life as busy as yours I don't know how you find the time to do anything crafty at all let alone something as beautiful as this spread. I love your circles, and the stamping on this is superb. I loved the video too; xxx

  4. WONDERFUL video Debs, love the step by step and the shading on your circles really brings your pages together. More videos please and i loved the sneak peek :-) xxx
