Hi everyone, it’s been a slow day on the inspiration front, but eventually I started playing. I wanted to make something to enter the Paper Artsy Blog challenge which this week is Paint.
Go visit the blog and as there are some fab inspiration and on the You Tube channel Leandra demonstrates a variety of techniques.
I’m going to use stencils so will entering this into Craft stamper Challenge too.
First I decorated 3 book marks using Fresco Finish Acyrlic and 3×5 gelli Plate which arrived today.
To add another layer I thought I’d have another go at bumping. Those of you who know me know that I struggle to use a stencil neatly. So onto the YouTube video of Leandra demonstrating bumping to refresh my memory. I used Lin Brown’s stencil ELB 01
As you can see it’s not great but I thought usable. ( the colour chanes because of the light) Using a JOFY 12 stamp I added a feature.
On the reverse I stamped EN mini. I thought this would be good to record which books you have read, or if your library is electronic you could use it in a journal and record inspiration, or just journal on it.
I made the others in a similar way.
On this one I drew my elements.
I have three more to decorate but they are for another day. Take care and I’ll see you soon

How fabulous are your bookmarks Debs! So pleased you bought the smaller GP it is my favourite. I purchased a Clarity Stamp acrylic block they make especially for the different sizes of GP and got one fot the 3 inch and the A4 sized one. Fab to use as you can stamp with the GP if you want to.I made myself a small bookmark recently as can't find the ones i made last year lol, not as pretty as yours:-) xxx
