Morning you crafty lot, and welcome! How are you all? Well I hope and ready to enjoy your weekend.
Did you have thunder storms last? We did here in Halifax. Halifax? What’s she doing there, I hear you ask! Well for weeks we had planned to come here for the weekend to enjoy some of the Arts Festival at Hebden Bridge. Well it was a bit touch and go as I’ve had a sickness bug all week, but thankfully it has subsided, so we was able to make it.
So, I decided to join in on the fun by wearing a scarf I had created myself. Some time ago I purchased some plain white silk scarfs, with the idea of dyeing them myself.
Well I thought I’d design two, and of course as mum came to cat sit she got one for herself.
I used blue, turquoise, green and purple to create my base. Here are some shots after the dyeing process.
Once this process was complete I decided to hand paint some flowers.
Some shots of the two finished scarves.
Above, I scattered daisie all over in the same colour palette as the background.

I think they're gorgeous, Debs – love those white daisies against the fabulous background. I bet you'd find a market for these.Alison xx
