Hello everyone, I’m here with this months second make for Country View Crafts challenge for male themed cards. I have another set of cards for you, similar but different.
So I used The same die cuts as before, but with different backgrounds. To see how I made the die cuts and wax seals please see previous post here.
So the backgrounds for these were made with a stencil which I designed and distress oxide inks. You can see how I made the stencil here.
I used a couple of techniques, one I used the stencil taped down so it wouldn’t move and then several oxide colours blended over the stencil leaving the white background.
I then flicked some water on it to add some visual texture.
The second technique I used was do blend colours on the background and then with a wet wipe and the stencil wiped off some of the ink through the stencil. It gives a more subtle look
I then mounted these onto the cards and made up the cards as before. Well thats it for this month but lets take a last look of them all together.
Goodbye from me and take care

How fabulous to be making your own stencils… (and die-cuts!). Lovely cards Debs.x
These are great too, Debs! But I think, I like the first ones a little bit more.
